back from HongKong!shall post a long post of what we did in hongkong just for shi hui and annfeng, hahas. okay, here goes: Day1: reach the airport at 6.15am, meet the band at 7am, and we took the plane at 9.15am. got a window seat and saw the plane flying up to the sky. The sky is super pretty, and my head was having a headache, and my ears is 'stuck'. Then the whole band was walking around taking photos with one another, lol. reach HongKong around 12.15, if i nt wrong, and went to meet our tourguide, tracy and ricky. But I didnt took a photo of them, forgotten. Went to sightseeing after that and went to shop around. Reach the hotel around 9.30pm, and we stay at L'hotel Nina, which has 61 floor, so tall! have a talk with Mr Tan and the whole band, and went to sleep. Day2: went to the 2 schools and have a exchange progamme with them, I simply love the first school we went, they stand outside the school gate, waving at us and welcoming us. hahas, and we saw the whole percussion section. Esther, Tiffany, Samuel, Clive, April, the names of the school that we visit in the morning. Play the exchange pieces for them to heard and playing March Blue Sky with them. Then bout 1 plus, we leave the sch and they came running down the stairs and waving us goodbye. When our bus was driving off, they came running after the bus and waving goodbye. The whole band was like goodbye to them, hahas. And we heard they are coming next year, excited. then we went to another school, but it not 'school', it a community centre. And all the percussionists there are all girls, and we play overture 1 with them. have our dinner and went back to the hotel. Day3: I love this day, we have 1 whole day SHOPPING! yeah, I love it. We went to the beach, and the whole band was like taking pictures with one another, hahas. Then we went to more sightseeing and took photos with the clown. At night, we went to lady market and brought 10 shirts, lol. it cheap, and went to SaSa, the make-up shop down there. have two hours of shopping and went to hotel. Day4: went to HongKong DisneyLand, yeah! We perform in a place called It a small world, and the timpani sucks! it like you want this note, it either sharp or flat. Argh, then cant have the timpani in tune. And we heard that we are the first band to perform in front of the It a small world. then went to sit the rollercoaster with Sherine and Jianghui, it a bit scary, turning here and there and my head is giddy after that. Saw a group of percussionists down there performing, so cool, they use cans and households things to create music, hahas. Saw the fireworks at 7pm, and it hard to capture the images, the fireworks. Went back to hotel at 9.30pm, around there and went to the 41 floor to see the buildings outside the L'Hotel Nina. It quite scary, frm the window of 41 floor look down. Went to sleep after that. Day5: Went for the workshop, the tutor wo taught us is super pro. Brought a pair of sticks and a drumpad for Shona's birthday present. Took a plane back to Singapore, and back home. |
